The Management Lesson Of Shimon Peres
Balancing hope and duty.
During his speech at the recent World Economic Forum in Davos, Shimon Peres, President of Israel, said that, over his life, he had become a “dissatisfied optimist.”
I identify with this definition because it combines the hope that should motivate any manager to build the future with his team and the duty to never settle for less and always aim higher.
Hope and duty. It is more than a management lesson. It is a life lesson.
