Book Review: “Between You And Me: A Memoir” By Mike Wallace (2005, 304 Pages)
History from a distance.
Mike is an American journalistic icon – he was one of the original correspondents for ‘60 Minutes’.
His book relates his interviews with newsmakers from all walks of life – political and military leaders, show business stars, mobsters, artists, civil rights activists.
The book is long on anecdotes and short on analysis. It reminds us of some historical events but doesn’t teach us a great deal about them.
RATING: D.
