Book Review: “Collision 2012: Obama vs. Romney And The Future Of Elections In America” By Dan Balz (2013, 400 Pages)
Political junkies won’t learn much in this book. Non political junkies will get bored reading it.
Dan Balz is a political correspondent at the Washington Post. His book provides a postmortem of Barack Obama’s reelection.
I like to read books that teach me new things. With a few exceptions (e.g. Obama’s IT and grass-roots machinery), it wasn’t the case with “Collision 2012”. It mostly retells stories already known by political junkies.
Also, contrary to the promise of its title, the book doesn’t explore the future of elections in America.
RATING: D.
