Book Review: “Unreal Estate: Money, Ambition, And The Lust For Land In Los Angeles” By Michael Gross (2011, 560 Pages)
Not such a fun topic after all.
Michael Gross is a journalist and nonfiction author.
His book relates the history of the “Platinum Triangle,” the area that encompasses Bel Air, Beverly Hills and Holmby Hills.

I read this book while I was vacationing in Los Angeles two weeks ago. It was fun to learn about the numerous changes experienced by L.A. – and the “Triangle” – since its foundation.
The book is very detailed, though, and you should only read it if you are deep into this subject.
RATING: C.
