Book Review: “The Outsider: A Memoir” By Jimmy Connors (2013, 416 Pages)
A grand slam of a book.
Jimmy Connors is one of tennis’ greats and one of my favorite players of all time.
This book is as sharp as Jimbo’s two-handed backhand return of serve. It’s interesting, entertaining, candid, and well written.
Once again, Connors gives it all, as he was used to doing on the court. Every tennis fan should read this book that teaches so much about the game and gives a lesson in life.
RATING: A.
