Book Review: “This Town: Two Parties And A Funeral – Plus, Plenty Of Valet Parking! – In America’s Gilded Capital” By Mark Leibovich (2013, 400 Pages)
Gossip as an art form.
Mark Leibovich is the chief national correspondent for The New York Times Magazine.
“This Town” is a digital-era, TMZ-influenced version of Saint-Simon’s portraits applied to Washington D.C.

Anyone interested in American policy – politics, to be exact – will find this book hilarious, well informed, and awkwardly gossipy.
Everyone else should pass.
RATING: C.
