Book Review: “Blur: How To Know What’s True In The Age Of Information Overload” By Bill Kovach And Tom Rosenstiel (2011, 240 Pages)
“Blur“, a very clear book.
Bill Kovach is the former Washington bureau chief of the New York Times and Tom Rosenstiel is the executive director of the American Press Institute.
Their book details the consequences of the information revolution on journalism, media, and society.
Even though “Blur” was published in 2011, it is still very up-to-date. Its analysis and historical comparisons greatly help forming a theory of information overload.
This book is a must-read for anyone interested in the news business.
RATING: B.
