Book Review: “Conscious Capitalism: Liberating the Heroic Spirit of Business” By John Mackey and Rajendra Sisodia (2013, 368 Pages)
A free-spirited book about free enterprise.
Mackey is the co-founder and co-CEO of Whole Foods Market.
His book is an essay calling for a revolution of free enterprise that would not only be about making a profit but having a higher purpose.
It’s interesting, enlightening, and thought provoking.
Last but not least, it relies on many real-life examples of conscious capitalism being implemented at Whole Foods Market.
RATING: B.
