Book Review: “Playing For Keeps: Michael Jordan And The World He Made” By David Halberstam (1999, 421 Pages)
A three-point book.
David Halberstam was an American Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist.
His book describes the amazing career of the greatest athlete of all times.
It is very well informed, insightful, and masterly written.
But it oscillates too much back and forth in time, which is confusing and creates too many useless repetitions.
RATING: B.
